Putting a creative
spin on bikes...
The team at F-At has an unparalleled range of editorial and graphical experience in the cycling sector. Here's just a small sample of some of our recent work, get in touch if you'd like to know more.

road.cc
Website design and build
road.cc is the consumer cycling website run by Farrelly Atkinson. We've designed, built and managed the site and since its launch in September 2008 it has grown to become one of the leading road cycling websites in the UK.
In October 2010, road.cc was awarded the prestigious Bikebiz award for best consumer cycling website of 2010 and we continue to add new features and functionality to constantly improve the user experience.

Cycle Commuter
Customer publishing magazine
We have produced six issues of Cyclescheme's biannual consumer magazine, Cycle Commuter. Farrelly Atkinson are responsible for all aspects of the magazine, from commissioning and writing the articles to laying out the pages – since launch both pagination and advertising revenue have doubled.
Mega Meon sportive
Recce video
We shot this sportive recce video on location with UK Cycling Events and then worked with Abject Productions to cut together this seven minute edit for promotional use on the UKCE site.

Mountain Bike Tricks & Techniques
Book Design
Working closely with publishers Cordee, Author Martyn Ashton and photographer Robin Kitchin, Farrelly Atkinson gave this mountain bike book an inspirational yet friendly feel, introducing line illustations and graphic elements alongside the photography and text.
Yoga for cyclists
Video direction and production
We directed and shot this 20-part video series in which expert instructor, Karen Burt, and a willing cyclist demonstrated yoga-based exercises designed specifically for cyclists. Abject Productions assisted with editing and post-production for this very popular series of films currently running on road.cc.

Evans Ride It!
Editorial copywriting & direction
Leading retailer Evans Cycles commissioned us to write editorial for their seasonal catalogues and to work with them to make reading the Evans catalogue much more of a magazine-like experience for their customers. The result is Ride It!, a magazine that provides useful information to cyclists and a showcase for Evans' product range in a way designed specifically to the diverse range of cyclists that make up the Evans customer base.

cyclescheme.co.uk
Web design and production
We've been working with Cyclescheme since the very beginning and their website is now on its fourth iteration, with a fifth launching soon. In that time the company has gone from the back office of a local bike shop to an award-winning business nationally recognised business, and the public-facing site has been part of that success. Innovative tools and search-friendly design continue to keep it top of Google's rankings and well regarded by participating employers.

Hotel Belvedere
Brochure design
Legendary for its cycle-friendly hosptality the Hotel Belvedere is a family run hotel offering cycling holidays in Riccione, Italy. The hotel approached Farrelly Atkinson to produce a UK-sepcific brochure to use as promotional material for events in the UK, we helped with the design and copy editing to tailor their message for British cyclists.

Advertising design
Various clients
We've been helping many of our own clients on road.cc, and others within the industry, to produce eye-catching and targeted adverts for online delivery. We work with Flash and static formats, and can also generate XML-based adverts that allow the client to update their ad content without resubmitting the creative.
Our expertise in magazine and print production also means that we can create eye-catching and effective adverts for these formats too.

chippenhamwheelers.org
Website design and build
Local cycling club Chippenham Wheelers asked us to overhaul their ageing website. We built them a new, content-managed site which allows them to keep a calendar of events online, store race results and email information to the club's 400 members. The site has been very well received by the club's members and is now an invaluable part of their communication strategy.
